Available Horses
"Mac"

"Mac" is a 2020 dark bay OTTB gelding (Sparkin) by El Deal out of a Leestown mare. Approx 15.2-15.3hh. He has amassed over $75K on the race track before retiring for a new career. His very first off the track ride and he was already slow loping the pattern. This boy is NICE and has so much potential! He is easy, kind and just an all around great mind. He is built more like a quarter horse than a Thoroughbred but this boy can also, as he cleared a 6 foot fence at the trainer's like it was no big deal! lol...We will continue to ride Mac and get him legged up. Also working on getting more pictures and video. Currently priced in mid to upper 4 figures!
"Matty"

"Matty" is a 2022 dark bay OTTB gelding. His registered name, Hint of Faith, reminded me of the bible verse Matthew 17:20 , which says "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you".y Imperial Hint out of an Ide mare. He only had two starts on the track but did not win any more. He suffered a non-displaced slab fracture and is with us for further rehab before he will be restarted. I have to say that he has one of the kindest, most loving personalities, and he is quickly becoming a barn favorite. Not only is he sweet, he is also stunning - with his stocky body, white legs and irregular blaze. Approx 15.2hh. I have not decided if he will eventually be up for sale or if he is a keeper, but either way he will be with us for a while, until the vet gives the "all clear" to start back to work.
"Benny"

"Benny" is a 2021 chestnut OTTB gelding. His registered name is "Run Rice Run", and the first thing that came to mind when I heard that name was "Uncle Ben's Rice"...lol..so I started calling him Benny. Approx 15.3hh. This horse is such an overgrown dog. He loves everyone and is incredibly kind. He had four starts on the race track but did not win any money. Clearly, being a race horse was not his calling; but that doesn't mean he can't excel at a million other jobs. I don't think he has a mean bone in his body, but this boy is currently at the trainer's facility in Gainesville, Texas to try to put more of a "finish" on him - more collection, softening in the face, more responsive to queues, etc.
He is up to date on teeth, vaccines, worming, Coggins and had his feet done about a 3 weeks ago. He is definitely a looker. Although he is a chestnut, he is a much lighter shade and has the chrome to go along with it! Currently priced at $5,000.
"Tahlula"

"Tahlula" is a 2003 AWS Preferred Rating Mare (registered name is "Tea Time"). Approx 15.2hh. She is by the well-known Holsteiner, Challenger, out of a Thoroughbred mare, Breezy Slew (granddaughter of Seattle Slew). Tahlula has spent her entire life with one owner; however, due to personal reasons her owner had to get rid of all her horses approximately 1 year ago. Tahlula has experience as a jumper, and even as a polocrosse mare, in her younger years. Before coming to us she had not been ridden for awhile. I do think she will need a little bit of a tune up/leg up, but don't let her age fool you because I think she could still pack some intermediate kiddos around a jump course. She is up to date on teeth, vaccines, Coggins, worming and had her feet trimmed not too long ago (currently barefoot). $1,000. Located in Boyd, Texas but if she doesn't sell soon she will be going back down to south Texas.
"Mia"

"Mia" (not yet registered until she undergoes GOV inspection with her dam). This absolutely adorable suckling filly (born 3/31/25) is by Cabulous WH (Westphalian with OHBS & GOV Breeding approval). She is out of a Thoroughbred mare, Elsie Grace, who looks like an imposter Warmblood! Gracie is absolutely stunning, and a gorgeous mover, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with Mia. She is the kindest, most curious foal we have had in a long time and we absolutely adore her! She will be for sale after she is inspected and after weaning for lower 5 figures, starting with a 1. OR she can also be purchased with her dam + foal in utero (TB/Irish Draft cross) for $18,000.
"Taki"

"Taki" (AQHA name: Jess Send Jesus) is a suckling colt, born 3/3/25 by Jess Send Cupid (Tres Seis x Jess Send Me) and out of a Thoroughbred mare, Starship Impulse. This guy is absolutely stunning with a hip and shoulder that will make most horse enthusiasts drool. Taki's dam has amassed over $100k in earnings on the track. His sire's maternal side is packed with Blue Hen producers. This boy does not HAVE to go. I will not be heartbroken if he doesn't, as we will put him on the track or the barrel pen if he stays. He is also paid into the AQHA Racing Challenge. Located in Boyd, Texas. He will be ready to go around mid July.
